We had an underwater theme for the girls birthday party this year, and in the kitchen we turned our kitchen table into a big pirate ship using the last of our shipping boxes.

Kate led a party story trail through the house that finished with the kids having to defeat Mr Evil Octopus. He was made by paper macheing a pilates ball, which FYI doesn't work in the same way as when you do a balloon.
